Arm Lift – New Bern Brachioplasty Surgery

Do you have drooping upper-arm tissue that makes you feel uncomfortable wearing sleeveless tops? You won’t be able to exercise it away; instead, you’ll need a corrective surgical procedure known as an arm lift, or brachioplasty surgery.

The “bat wing” appearance of the upper arms is the result of several factors, the main ones being weight loss (and weight-loss surgery), gravity, and the aging process. The skin becomes less elastic with time, meaning that after weight loss, it does not shrink as well as it used to. Instead, it stays at its current size. Without support from the underlying fat layer, this skin hangs downwards.  An arm lift removes this excess skin and restores your arms to a nice slim contour.
