After we meet with you to talk about your goals and your options, we’ll custom-order your appropriately sized and shaped implants based on your facial measurements and the results you’re seeking. Then, we’ll carefully place your facial implants, most commonly in the cheek, chin, or jaw.
Our experts use incisions inside the mouth or discreetly placed external incisions to create space in soft tissues for implant positioning and support.
Generally, our facial implant surgeries are performed as an outpatient procedure under local anesthesia with or without sedation, as needed by the patient.
Results & Recovery
After your facial implant procedure, the results will be virtually immediate. Your initial swelling and possible mild discomfort should subside in 2 to 4 weeks and dissipate fully in 1 to 2 months, as final results appear.
Because we perform facial implants as outpatient procedures, you should be able to return to work within a few short days or a week at the most. We will generally recommend refraining from heavy lifting and vigorous activity for 2 to 4 weeks afterward as well.
